e-learning Course: Introduction to Personal Finances

Project Overview

This asynchronous course will guide students through the basics of personal finances. Understanding how personal finances work is crucial to become financially stable. In this course, students will learn essential skills such as saving and budgeting, getting out of debt, investments, retirement planning, and filing taxes. By the end of this course, participants will have enough financial literacy to confidently craft their own financial and investment plan and choose their best option for retirement. We strive to provide an inclusive learning environment, ensuring this course is accessible to all individuals regardless of their economic background. No prior financial knowledge is required, making this course suitable for everyone.

The design process for this project implemented the ADDIE model: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. It also followed a backward design as the foundation for the course's development.
